In December, I had the great pleasure of improvising with cellist Emmalee Hunnicutt and vocal and electronic musicians Kiki Ka and Elisa Faires. I had wanted to bring these women together to play for a long time, and well, it’s kind of turned into a thing! From this one show and one session, we have formed a mercurial and fluid collective now known as Barrel Blood. Please take a listen to our first recording from our show in December at Revolve.
