All creations are ephemeral and reflect the natural life cycle of decay, transformation, and absorption into new works of art, providing fertile ground for new things. Our collection across forms is a very human and joyously un-optimized attempt to acknowledge the past, present, and future of our creative lives in a series of moments.
My partner, David James Lynch, and I, like many people engaged in creative work, and I think many people period, knock about in all different mediums. We started thinking about making a container for our creative output, regardless of genre or specialization, and in 2023 Ephemera House was born.

Dave uses creative coding, using the program Processing, to make visual art through code. He uses code the way that a painter might use their paintbrush! We make art prints + jewelry, in metal, paper, and wood, each of which is a moment chosen from the generative process coded by Dave.
I make video art using captured video of the coding process, video I’ve taken, and digital art + animations that I create. Inspired by “musique concrete” and sound collage techniques, translated to video, I have found that, like in music, a small piece can transform into its own world.
